The day after Daddy and I arrived from Boracay where we were stranded for one day in Boracay because of cancelled flight, I left for Davao with Sr. Hazel and friends Nora Jones and Carol Lam. We were met by the official car of Mayor Roger Antalan with a tourist guide of the Island Garden City of Samal. Before taking the ferry to Samal Island, we went to visit Gingging’s mama Tita Inday in her house. Ging’s papa is in the hospital but we did not visit him anymore.
We were booked in Bluewaters Resort in Samal Island. The following day we went to a sea side/cliff property of Roger and Tessie where we had lunch and went swimming. It’s a beautiful place, and is asking all of us to visit them there before his term ends in June.
We also drove around the island of which Roger is responsible for roads and electricity during his 9 years as mayor. Tessie is supposed run to take over as mayor, but Roger’s brother instead is running for the puesto, and Tessie is very dissapointed because she worked hard to become the first woman mayor of Samal.
Roger had a mild heart attack, and will undergo angio gram next week.
We came home Monday Feb. 13.
On Feb. 14 Daddy and I went to QCSC for our annual dinner dance. We danced all night, but I got tired easily maybe because of the 2 consecutive trips I did the past 9 days – Boracay and then Samal.
Then yesterday Feb. 15, I had lunch with my Assumption classmates.
Today I slept all day. Then I attended the 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Mass by the 13 newly ordained SVD priests last Feb. 3 in Tagaytay. It was one the most number of those ordained in a year.
I am sorry for what happened to Ichay. Baka too much work.
I hope I get to see Marina during her week-end here from Cebu.
Celeste, how are you na? You need bed rest, so I hope you do so. I am excited to have my 11th apo.
Roland, how was your trip to Malaysia?
Sa mga Americans, hindi pa ba kayo natatabunan ng snow?
O sigue, this will be all for now.
Take care all of you and don’t forget to pray.
Love, Daddy and Mommy
